FOOD DRIVE FOR THE EMERGENCY FOOD PROGRAM

The Baha’is of Las Cruces are engaged in an ongoing program of collecting food for the Casa de Peregrinos emergency food program. One in five people in New Mexico lives below the poverty level including some 30,000 seniors.

Needed items include peanut butter, jelly, tuna, canned chicken, vegetables, fruit, pasta (including macaroni and cheese and Ramen noodles). Other needs include Diapers (baby and adult), feminine hygiene products, baby wipes, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.

If you would like to contribute you may bring your donations to the Baha’i Center during scheduled activities, or at other times by pre-arrangement. We will also pick up donations. Please call to arrange a pickup or to get more information. 575-644-6668 or 575-528-8912.
