Baha’is of Las Cruces announce governing council election results

Community snapshot: The Baha’i community of Las Cruces elected its nine-member governing council, known as the Local Spiritual Assembly, for 2018-2019. Standing from left to right, are: Carl Ewing, chairman, Phyllis Williams, Darrell Rodgers, vice chairman, Deborah Rodgers, Annie Mitchell, secretary, and Gordon Butler. Local assemblies minister to the needs of the community, including organizing classes for the spiritual education of children and adults. They support community members in planning devotional programs and other public events.
